Kotebe Metropolitan University organized graduation ceremony for over 3000 students who have successfully completed their course of academic study. This year's ceremony took place at Kokebe Hall located around Megeneagna, commonly called 24 areas.  Female outweigh among the trainees graduated being 1727 compared to male counter parties who were 1462.

During the ceremony Dr. Berehanemskel Tena , the president of Kotebe metropolitan University congratulated graduates and all stakeholders  for their support. The president also explained   the university is significantly contributing to the country’s demand of trained human resource up on gradating over 60000 graduates so far. 

Present during the graduation was honorable Deputy mayor of Addis Ababa City Administration, Mr. Abate Sitotaw  reminded Kotebe Metropolitan University should work tirelessly to realize a sustainable city and  in  fight against poverty. His Excellency affirmed that the city administration, on its vacant posts, will provide jobs to graduates.

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Demoz Admasu, heralded the news, “You are Graduates” to respective programs in between applauds.  Following that, certificate and various types awards were handed over to graduates by government officials from the city government and authorities from the university. 

 

Female students with higher academic achievements were awarded Scholarships   for further studies in diploma and degree programs.
